A combination of StemWave® and physical therapy
No. StemWave® is an elective, cash-based treatment and is not billed to insurance. Your regular physical therapy visits may still be billed to insurance separately, with normal copays and deductibles.
Most patients who explore StemWave® have already tried rest, medications, injections, or traditional PT and are still dealing with persistent pain.
They want a non-invasive option to try before considering more injections or surgery, even if it means paying out of pocket.
This visit focuses on one problem area and includes:
✅ Focused history and movement exam
✅ Baseline pain and function assessment
✅ First StemWave® treatment (if appropriate and safe)
✅ Clear explanation of findings and recommendations
The goal is to decide whether StemWave®, PT, or another approach makes the most sense for you.
Your first StemWave® visit is $79.
If, by the end of your visit, you don’t feel the evaluation, treatment, and professional guidance you received were worth $79, simply tell us before you leave and you won’t pay for the visit. No hard feelings.
This applies only to the introductory cash-based StemWave® visit and does not promise a specific medical result.
It depends on the condition, how long it has been present, and how your body responds.
Some patients improve quickly; others need a more structured plan over several weeks.
If StemWave® appears appropriate for you, we’ll outline a clear plan so you can decide whether to move forward.
StemWave® is one tool we may use to help reduce pain and support tissue healing.
Traditional PT focuses more on:
✅ Movement
✅ Strength
✅ Mobility
✅ Functional improvement
Some patients do well with StemWave® alone; others get the best results by combining it with targeted physical therapy.
Possibly.
Some patients respond well to StemWave® alone. Others benefit more from a combination of StemWave® and PT exercises.
At your visit, we’ll explain which option we believe is safest and most effective for your specific condition so you can choose.
We commonly use StemWave® for:
✅ Plantar fasciitis and heel pain
✅ Achilles tendon pain
✅ Shoulder pain
✅ Knee pain
✅ Tennis and golfer’s elbow
✅ Hip pain
✅ Chronic tendon or soft-tissue problems
Especially when symptoms have lingered or keep coming back.
Most patients describe StemWave® as a pulsing, tapping, or vibrating sensation.
Some areas feel more sensitive than others.
We can usually adjust intensity to your comfort level.
Most visits last about 10–20 minutes after setup, depending on the area we’re treating and whether we’re also reviewing exercises or activity modifications.
We’ll help you determine whether StemWave®, physical therapy, or a combination is the best fit for your goals.
